Anxiety these days is basically an epidemic. It’s everywhere. For a lot of people it’s a chronic issue that seems to accompany them their whole lives. For others anxiety is triggered by an event in their lives or is caused by a mental health issue. Some learn a behavior pattern of anxiety due to being raised by a parent who suffers from it.
There are a lot of interesting ideas out there about what things could be causing it. Some ideas touch on the more obvious possibilities like an unhealthy relationship or stressful work environment. Other ideas are a little out there, and you may not have even heard of them. I’d like to get into as many of these ideas as I can. In fact, this is such a big topic of interest for me that I’m making a series out of it.
Causes of Anxiety: a four part series
Here’s what you can expect from each part:
Part 3: I’ll discuss ways Health & Lifestyle can exacerbate Anxiety
Part 4: I’ll be finishing the series off by going a little deeper and talking about things like existential anxiety and evolutionary factors.
My goal in publishing this Causes of Anxiety series is to make you aware of the things you may not have considered were impacting you and causing Anxiety, which will hopefully make it easier for you to find appropriate solutions. I’m really looking forward to sharing all of this with you and I hope you get a lot out of it.
Until Next Time,
Keep Calm and Grow On
